The owners are so lovely, it was a really nice experience. I had just finished a 3 day hike and was exhausted so the mum made me a delicious Bento box for dinner.
The living space is very spacious and light, it felt very relaxing in there. The communal kitchen and bathroom area is also very spacious and has everything you would need.

The room at this ryokan was exactly what was expected. The staff was friendly and the property was adequate. I did enjoy the reserve system for using the hot tub as I was staying alone. The location was very convenient as it was at the start of the trail and near the train station.

We appreciated the history of the house and the amazing food! Additionally, the hosts were extremely accommodating, providing a ride to places you wouldn’t get to see through the public transit and even providing a ride to the house when we failed to get there ourselves. Beautiful property and the host was amazing. He was so nice and gave amazing recommendations. He called a restaurant to make a reservation for which he recommended and it was one of the best yakiniku places we’ve been to. We also went out to a karaoke bar with him and we had a great time!
