Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Great location. Exceptionally clean. Lovely coffee. Excellent skincare. Very kind and helpful staff. We left a cable behind and they kindly posted it to our next destination. So helpful. Would stay again. Highly recommend.
The host made the stay into an amazing japanese experience. We had a cooking evening with traditional japanese food and a morning walk to the different local areas in Morioka. The host made a great effort to introduce us to the authentic part of Morioka also by sharing all his favorite spots with us. We tried many local coffe places, and delicious local food in the area thanks to him. Cannot recommend this place enough.
The house/room was very charming and very clean and pleasant.
Perfect host. Ultra cosy and clean Ryokan in charming part of Morioka. Good reasons for the numerous rules. It means my space is clean. After staying in a few other ryokans which are not of similar standards, I can better appreciate Tototo with the rules and quality chattels. Would come again and highly recommend this place.
Thank you for your hospitality.
Lovely hotel located within a short walk of the train station (note that you need to use the underpass to cross the road from the station, there is an elevator on both sides if you have luggage).
The room was wonderful, lovely view across the river with the mountains in the background. The room was very clean, quiet, and a really good size. Lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance of the hotel so it was a great location.
Everything!!! Breakfast was absolutely fantastic, many options for everyone! The room was a big enough for two persons. Clean, great location, many restaurants near the hotel, quiet, staff are friendly!
