The house is fantastic, I will return but perhaps accompanied and with a rented car since I traveled around the island by bicycle and there were some places left to see.

Its a cool old house that gives more vibes like a homestay than a modern hotel and it gave me more feeling of adventure.
The woman who is taking care of the house was super nice and good to talk to and to see the stars from the roof was beautyful.

This was a fantastic stay in a guesthouse, with very friendly hosts - especially Atsushi-san and Pao-san!
It's very welcoming and well fitted out, with plenty of advice for what to do and where to go on the island. A bonus was freshly roasted coffee every morning by Atsushi-san. They have a lovely island dog, Iru-chan, who quickly made friends with us after some scratches, 10/10 good boy.
We also went on the snorkelling tour of Yabiji, which was a great half day out with some fantastic pictures and all round fun.
Amazing guesthouse just next to Sunayama beach, the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. They made us feel at home for five days, and even showed us around the local festival that was taking place on Miyako. Iru the dog is also very cute and friendly:) Would 100% recommend to anyone wishing to get some peace and quiet away from the touristy areas of Miyakojima.
*Also for animal lovers, we saw a bunch of animals like coconut crabs and peacocks next to the beach so that was a huge plus for me:)
The cottage-type facility surrounded by nature is peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast and access to a beach is very good. All the staff including the room cleaning staff were very friendly and willing to welcome guests. As the facility is out of the city center, the night sky is very attractive. If lay-back chairs or hammocks can be arranged in the garden, people can spend time star-gazing. If you are coming for a quiet, relaxing vacation with amazing views of the ocean, you will get it here.

Thou it might look a little far away, Mijako is a place were you need a car to move and the Guest House is equidistant to all the main places. The owners solve all you needs with a smile and cheaper than everyone else.
The host Fukui-san is the most helpful and kindest host you could wish for. He constantly made sure that everything was taken care of. The facilities were always very clean and there was enough space for all the guests to make use of the common area. We were also grateful for the bicycle rental. Guesthouse Re-Spect was our favourite accommodation out of the places we stayed in Miyakojima. Thank you for your hard work Fukui-san.
