Amazing accommodation with a wonderful owner!
Recently, I had the opportunity to stay in one of the best accommodations on the island, and I must say that the experience was absolutely fantastic! Right upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner, who was incredibly kind and welcoming. From the very first moment, we felt at home.The owner willingly provided us with plenty of useful tips about places worth visiting—ranging from beautiful beaches to great restaurants and stunning viewpoints. His recommendations helped us discover hidden gems on the island that we would have otherwise overlooked.As for the accommodation, it was incredibly clean and well-maintained. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, allowing us to focus solely on relaxation and enjoying our vacation.Additionally, the owner also assisted us in renting a car, which greatly facilitated our exploration of the island. His willingness to help and care made our visit even more enjoyable.Overall, I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for a great place to stay with fantastic service. The host is a piece of heart! She is such a nice, friendly person. We really appreciate her a lot. She has been very helpful with booking the trips.
When we just arrived, she showed us all the places of interest on a map and answered any question we had.
The daily Japanese breakfast was excellent and tasty.
We would come back again in the future. It's a wonderful place where to stay and it has a terrace where you can see the sunset. The place is also very close to the wonderful beach Boraga, which is really worth visiting.

My boyfriend and I travelled to Miyako together for a surfing holiday. The host of this place, Osan, is incredibly friendly. We had so much fun together and cooked for each other. One day, he took us on a tour around the island and to show us his favourite Soba restaurant. We drank coffee together every morning. He is so welcoming and we didn’t even speak any Japanese.
His homestay has 3 different rooms. We stayed in the double room upstairs. The room had an air conditioner and was clean and comfortable.

Its a cool old house that gives more vibes like a homestay than a modern hotel and it gave me more feeling of adventure.
The woman who is taking care of the house was super nice and good to talk to and to see the stars from the roof was beautyful.
Location is good just a 2-3 min walk to the street with the restaurant and bars.
I slept well in my bed and the aircon was good.

Good value for money, there's share kitchen you can cook your own food and fridge. They have stay-in admins to provide guidance. Cleaning staffs does daily cleaning. As close as you can get to the city center and to all the beaches with car.

This was a fantastic stay in a guesthouse, with very friendly hosts - especially Atsushi-san and Pao-san!
It's very welcoming and well fitted out, with plenty of advice for what to do and where to go on the island. A bonus was freshly roasted coffee every morning by Atsushi-san. They have a lovely island dog, Iru-chan, who quickly made friends with us after some scratches, 10/10 good boy.
We also went on the snorkelling tour of Yabiji, which was a great half day out with some fantastic pictures and all round fun.
Amazing guesthouse just next to Sunayama beach, the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. They made us feel at home for five days, and even showed us around the local festival that was taking place on Miyako. Iru the dog is also very cute and friendly:) Would 100% recommend to anyone wishing to get some peace and quiet away from the touristy areas of Miyakojima.
*Also for animal lovers, we saw a bunch of animals like coconut crabs and peacocks next to the beach so that was a huge plus for me:)
The cottage-type facility surrounded by nature is peaceful and relaxing. The breakfast and access to a beach is very good. All the staff including the room cleaning staff were very friendly and willing to welcome guests. As the facility is out of the city center, the night sky is very attractive. If lay-back chairs or hammocks can be arranged in the garden, people can spend time star-gazing. If you are coming for a quiet, relaxing vacation with amazing views of the ocean, you will get it here.

Thou it might look a little far away, Mijako is a place were you need a car to move and the Guest House is equidistant to all the main places. The owners solve all you needs with a smile and cheaper than everyone else.
The host Fukui-san is the most helpful and kindest host you could wish for. He constantly made sure that everything was taken care of. The facilities were always very clean and there was enough space for all the guests to make use of the common area. We were also grateful for the bicycle rental. Guesthouse Re-Spect was our favourite accommodation out of the places we stayed in Miyakojima. Thank you for your hard work Fukui-san.
