Wow - if you are coming to Miyajima, absolutely stay here! The guesthouse is large and spacious, with plenty of shared communal space downstairs. When we walked into our room, we were amazed - an incredible view over the rooftops of the town, right out onto the sea. Two chairs were thoughtfully provided right next to the window. This view really makes it worth coming to the guesthouse. Additionally, simple breakfasts and dinners are now included in the price of the night, which is very thoughtful on the part of the owner, as it’s hard (read nearly impossible) to find restaurants open on Miyajima at night. The guesthouse is just down the hill from a fantastic hike, so a great starting point for your trip. We also appreciated the private onsen (included in the price), and the nice handmade crafts in the lobby, available for purchase as souvenirs.

This was a pleasant surprise of a stay. So charming and private. Loved our host Kousuke and his attention to detail. Felt very well taken care of and appreciated the curated feel of the stay. The lovely breakfast was a bonus. Conveniently located to sites of interest on Miyajima. Would love to come again.
