The guest house is really good and the personnel is really nice ! They even helped us dealing with our luggage and offer to get us to the train station by car. And they even helped us with the local Post company (which is nearby). The room was clean, we had everything we needed. You will be in the suburbs of the city, but it's nice to walk across bridges and farm fields.

The Guest House was everything it promised. A warm and welcoming place, a lovely host who was very supportive and very comfortable beddings. Though our time was very short there, we enjoyed it very much and keep it as a special memory.

Everything. The bed was so comfortable and you'll get good value for your money !
Mino is a gem, unless you been there before. The bus stop is just outside the door, if you don't have your own wheels. The old couple who runs the Guesthouse is so kind and helpful. If I was to go to Mino again, this would be my choice of accommodation, every time.

The owners are very kind and willing to help you. I visited with my family (4 people) by renting a car, we were satisfied with the stay.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Though the guesthouse was not that close to the train stations, Hiro-san very kindly offered to pick me up. This was very helpful as I had limited time to explore the city. In addition, I was able to rent a bike from the guesthouse at a bargain to get around town and to key tourist attractions. Clear instructions were dotted around the property to get the best out of the stay. Hiro-san also dropped me off at the station very early the next morning. Very grateful to have started my holiday in Gifu with such excellent hosts.
The host communicated well and gave us all the information we needed. We had a bit of issue and the host helped us liaise with the authorities and provided all the support patiently. Truly grateful. The house is beautiful and well-equipped for our stay. The host also offered to drive us to see the cherry blossom, after the couple of hours of trouble. Amazing!
Lovely stay. Impeccably clean!! Very friendly and helpful hosts. Super cheap bike rental. Great breakfast deal with the cafe. We liked walking around that area, really friendly locals. We had a really great stay!
Fyi if you want to watch the fishing with the birds, you can cycle to it quite easily. When facing up river, if you go to the right hand side and walk down the pebble beach to the shore, you get an amazing view!!
Traditional guesthouse close to the majority of Gifu’s best attractions, host is amazing and helpful in every way possible, even with my poor Japanese skills
We booked a Japanese style room which was spacious and comfortable. The only shower room shared among everybody staying in the guesthouse was clean. The host was friendly, provided us directions to carpark, places of interests and restaurants.
1. You can see many adorable fur babies such as Shiba, cats, and birds.
2. The guesthouse owners are friendly, and one of the owners is Chinese, so you can communicate in English, Japanese, or Chinese.
3. I am able to experience what it's like to live in a Japanese house with a Japanese family, unlike hostels or hotels.
We loved our stay in Gifu and the SUAI guesthouse! We needed a little break from big, crowded cities, so we decided to visit Gifu and we had the best time! The hosts were extremely kind and their hospitality made our stay even better. We got to try sleeping on futons and also got bikes from them to go around the city. Also, their dog is the cutest but don't worry if you don't like dogs, she has her little house and you don't really need to interact with her. ❤️
Very nice and clean house in a quiet and beautiful neighbourhood. The hosts are lovely and kind, and the pets are extremely cute.
I stayed in the Japanese style room. I often find futon beds a bit uncomfortable, but the futon beds here were extremely comfortable and easy to sleep on.
