Due to rain, we arrived very early. We asked if we could leave our backpacks there until the check in time. Brunella, our host said “Come now”. Wonderful surprise.

If you are seeking a genuine and authentic experience, look no further. This apartment is cherished and well-maintained by its owners, exuding its own unique character. It is exceptionally clean, cozy, and conveniently situated in the heart of the city, yet nestled in a tranquil corner. Nearby, you will find a charming and picturesque park complete with a children's playground. My son and I had the pleasure of residing here for nearly the entire month of July and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We wholeheartedly recommend this apartment to our friends and family members.

A fantastic location, right by the side of the Duomo, and Gennaro, the proprietor, is welcoming and helpful. I mistook it for a standard hotel on Booking, but it is a guest house, splendidly medieval with steep steps and no elevator. Gennaro took my heavy luggage up the stairs himself. The room is lovely, an alcove over the bed for private devotion if you bring your own portable triptych. The mattress was beautifully firm, the pillows were variably soft, just perfect to combine and recombine as you feel, not at all the standard-issue hotel cement packs. The hot water was quick and plentiful. The shower, standard size very small, was fine.

We were warmly greeted by Davide who was a great host and very responsive. This apartment was beautifully furnished and super comfortable. It really felt like a home, rather than a holiday let. It was also in the perfect location; nestled in a quiet residential setting just 10 mins walk from the town or the supermarket. Loved it, and would highly recommend!

I had a wonderful couple days here at this beautiful property. The breakfasts were quite memorable. The host is extremely nice and had great communication beforehand. I appreciated staying a short walk away, and down a quiet street, from the very busy city center of San Gimignano.
