This is our second time staying here and we must say we really love this place. The rooms are big, clean and comfy. The wonderful people that own and take care of the hotel are really nice, friendly and accomodating. The breakfast is one of the best ( possibly THE best ) we've had in Iceland, it has a lot of things that are home made and absolutely tasty. It's also a great spot for northern lights viewing. Bonus: their cat, Grima, is a sweatheart! In conclusion we highly recommend this hotel and we can't wait to be back!

Nice place in a beautiful quiet setting, guesthouse was on the small side but more than adequate. Bed was comfortable and facilities were more than enough, full kitchen supplies. Owner was very friendly and helpful.

The house was fantastic: clean, tidy, warm and surrounded by spectacular landscape. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. My friend and I had a great time: the only two nights we rested during the Ring Road.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Great spacious and comfortable apartment in a rural setting. It is in the same building where the hosts live but has a separate and private entrance, so completely private.
Hint: bring your own dinner supplies- the apartment has a full kitchen.
everything ! I will never forget this place !
the cottage is perfectly located facing an amazing lake everything around is so cute the little walk to watch the birds, the hot tub, the dock … I loved every minute of it plus it s the perfect place to get a chance to see the aurora ! inside the cottage got all you need, a really great kitchen, a super confortable bed and a efficient bathroom it’s the most charming place ever !
you can feel the love the owners put on this spot on every details we felt blessed to discover it !
Great cottages in a great location just outside Husavik. Overlooking a lake and the sea from our deck. Not big but comfortable and very serene. We really enjoyed our time here. Husavik is a 5 min. drive away. Myvatn and Asbyrgi each about 45 min.
The sofa was very comfortable and the wifi worked well. The area was quiet despite its proximity to the airport (few planes but you can hear them when they arrive or depart). The kitchen was well equipped and it was great to have a washing machine.
A great Icelandic experience! This cottage in the middle of nowhere is absolutely cozy and charming. It was wonderful to watch Friends episodes before going to sleep, and to wake up in perfect silence, surrounded by nature. As a family of 4 adults and a toddler, it was perfect, clean and safe. Our son enjoyed playing on the sofa and pulling down all the DVD boxes. Very well organized without meeting the hosts. We hope to come back soon!
Super cozy wooden house - felt at home right away! The hosts really thought of everything, up until the smallest details. Also really enjoyed the hot tub from where we could observe a variety of birds - very tranquil and beautiful surroundings and a lot to explore around the huts. Highly recommended when spending time in Myvatn area or Husavik!
