Perfect location close to the cliff with many shops and restaurants walking distance. The area felt safe, the room was spacious and had a lovely calm atmosphere plus a seated balcony area. In six months travelling India, this was my best stay. The hosts Abi and Kauri are absolutely lovely and take care of everything you need. The whole property is spotless clean, and there is a regular room cleaning included. The provided breakfast is diverse and serves fresh home cooked Keralan meals. The location is also top.
A highlight is definitely the yoga classes! Abi teaches very calmly, professionally, and in a friendly way that serves beginners as well as more advanced yogis. It's not only asanas but also pranayama and occasionally meditations. There are also additional yoga classes in the evening, if you want more than the included yoga in the morning.
Overall, I felt like home there, and they created a beautiful family like atmosphere.

Accidentally found this property since it was a last minute booking, but really exceeds my expectations, host (Giri Kumar) was very helpful always, he bought us stuff to eat and was very humble. Property is right on the banks of Ashtamudy Lake, beautiful view, the building itself is beautiful with a lush green lawn, interior was nicely furnished, kitchen with utensils were available, peaceful sleep, overall a nice property if you are looking for some relaxation

Booked as a treat. It was recommended by my guide book and I wanted a hotel rather than a hostel this time. Felt luxury and is something my parents and grandparents would have felt comfortable and relaxed in. Great location so easy to direct autos and get around cheaply.

The host is very responsive, kind and took excellent care of us.The boat ride to and from the homestay (not accessible via road) was beautiful! It's the perfect place for a quiet getaway among the backwaters. We were there for only a night but it was a very relaxing stay.
Spacious clean room, friendly and helpful staff and a great location. Walk able distance to most attractions and city center. The property is new and has a modern outlook. Definitely recommended for short stays.
