Stone Barn, hotel in Skibbereen

Situated in Skibbereen, in a historic building, 8.4 km from St Patrick's Cathedral, Skibbereen, Stone Barn is a recently renovated guest house with a garden and terrace.

The breakfast included was wonderful, made with local products. You could order as much or as little as you felt like, and made just for you. We asked for dinner on the first night as we were arriving a little late, and the 6-course meal did not disappoint. The place is superquiet and cozy, perfect for an autumn weekend.

We loved staying in this beautiful guesthouse. Our room was spacious and very well presented with a lovely bathroom. Glencora is so conveniently located. The breakfast was fantastic and came with a very nice printed menu and everything was very professionally done. We arrived back very late after our family wedding and the driveway was very well lit up. Anne and Seamus were just unbelievably kind and helpful. This is the best bed and breakfast that we have ever stayed in.

Well furnished with good facilities. Very clean. Plenty of parking outside. The property is just off the main road to Skibbereen but far away to be really quiet. The host was so helpful and accommodating. Their dog was so friendly and gentle which added to our stay. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice.

The apartment was very spacious, in a quiet country area, but only a couple of minutes drive from town. Des and Heidi were exceptional hosts, eager to help with any issues and offer advice about things to see and do in the area.

Breakfast was lovely, there is a choice of cereal, fruit as well as a cooked breakfast. Marguerite is a lovely lady and a great host very welcoming and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
