A truly exceptional overnight experience. This is the type of rural idyll that all others should aspire to. Stuart and Karin’s combined talents have created a hidden gem. Having read other guests views I can thoroughly and completely support everyone of them. Stuart’s seven course optional dinner with something to die for and would be worth triple figure bill per head in a commercial setting. His skill acquired during his time cheffing in top quality Swedish restaurant in Stockholm shines through, but in a setting like your own dining room. Other wonderful additions to this piece of Tranquility is the hot tub under the stars and welcoming committee of animals also previously mentioned by other guests in their reviews. If you don’t book this year missing out.

Breakfast was a cup of tea and a biscuit. This was more than expected as the room was bed only. There is no breakfast option in this house.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Tea making facilities with fresh milk provided.
Lovely quiet comfortable location minutes walk from the beach.Host was very friendly.Couldnt have been better.
Lovely quiet rural location. Tranquil setting and lovely views.
Everything you could need for your stay. The hosts left some fresh bread, butter, milk and eggs for us which was so thoughtful and much appreciated.
Really friendly staff in this cozy little guesthouse above a quiet bar.
Particularly enjoyed the included breakfast would definitely stay here again if returning to the area
We loved staying in this beautiful guesthouse. Our room was spacious and very well presented with a lovely bathroom. Glencora is so conveniently located. The breakfast was fantastic and came with a very nice printed menu and everything was very professionally done. We arrived back very late after our family wedding and the driveway was very well lit up. Anne and Seamus were just unbelievably kind and helpful. This is the best bed and breakfast that we have ever stayed in.
Great location, Great hosts, Shamus and Ann are lovely, fantastic breakfast, lovely property what can I say except we stayed for 4 days and had a lovely stay.
Well furnished with good facilities. Very clean. Plenty of parking outside. The property is just off the main road to Skibbereen but far away to be really quiet. The host was so helpful and accommodating. Their dog was so friendly and gentle which added to our stay. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice.
The apartment was very spacious, in a quiet country area, but only a couple of minutes drive from town. Des and Heidi were exceptional hosts, eager to help with any issues and offer advice about things to see and do in the area.
Great B&B, easy to find in a quiet location only a short drive from the centre of Skibbereen. The room was very comfy and had everything I need for my stay. Breakfast was lovely, there is a choice of cereal, fruit as well as a cooked breakfast. Marguerite is a lovely lady and a great host very welcoming and helpful.
I would definitely stay here again.
Well appointed property. Nicely converted barn, tastefully decorated. Remote and quiet. Good selection for breakfast. Stuart and Kiran were great hosts.
