The LookOut, hotel in Skibbereen

Offering a garden and mountain view, The LookOut is situated in Skibbereen, 2.2 km from Tralispeen Bay Beach and 7.9 km from St Patrick's Cathedral, Skibbereen.

We loved meeting Fiona, the owner, and her dog Paddy and Paddy's good neighbour friend. We loved the remote cute area above the harbour where the Lookout was located. There was a very friendly pub within a 3 minute walk down a little hill which served food in the evening. The area was very scenic, with cliffs and waves crashing on the rugged shoreline. There were a number of walking trails nearby, which Fiona described in a booklet in the room.

During our recent holiday, we had a nice stay at this charming bed and breakfast. Margaret and Jim, the gracious hosts, provided us with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, along with valuable suggestions for local attractions. The room we occupied was comfy and offered a a picturesque sea view. Each morning, we savored a continental breakfast prepared by Margaret and Jim to start our day off right. For a serene coastal getaway, we highly recommend this B&B.

We had a lovely nights stay here, their guesthouse was spotless with good facilities. Margaret & Jim are great hosts. They couldn’t have been more accommodating for us! Margaret helped recommend us somewhere for dinner after our long drive down. The views were stunning and the location is perfect for us starting our journey back up the Wild Atlantic Way.

Margaret and Jim are fabulous caring hosts! The room was very comfortable and quiet. The view from the room is outstanding! Breakfast is beautifully presented and the coffee is the best we've had in Ireland. Will definitely refer the Bethel Guesthouse to family and friends.
