We had a choice of five or six different freshly prepared hot meals every morning. Juice, coffee, tea, fresh fruit, and much more. Ann is a great cook and her husband, Michael was a fun, informed and engaging man about the whole place. Close enough to the village of Oranmore to walk for dinner with a couple of good restaurants. Also a twenty minute drive into Galway which is a cool town to walk around in and catch the boat to the Aran Islands.

The room was fairly small but extremely cute and well organized. The location was superb with an incredible asian restaurant closeby. The breakfast was excellent and their cafe is very popular.

This was a nice place to stay, a little overpriced but had to book it due to last minute changes in plans and it was the only place available. Private bedroom with 3 beds and private bathroom in room. Beds were smaller for one person only. Water pressure was great for the shower.

This was my third stay at The Barracks and it felt like I was coming home. The staff remembered us and were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Kudos to Scott, the General Manager, who went above and beyond with booking, taxi etc.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
We spent the New Years Eve in the WAW Barn. It was the perfect setup for a group of friends with the barn having everything we needed. The pool table and darts board provided lots of entertainment and Seamus was a great host giving us recommendations and setting us up with taxi numbers etc for the short spin into Oranmore.
Great location and the property is brilliant for what we wanted. Kids had a ball which is all you need really. Pool table was a great addition to the property. Seamus is a great host and always available when needed.
Oranmore is a warm and comfortable home with excellent facilities and in a great location; walking distance to the village containing numerous pubs and restaurants and an easy bus ride into Galway. It is also on the Wild Atlantic Way for those wishing to explore this Ann was a superb hostess, very friendly and helpful and produced excellent breakfasts. Couldn’t fault this B&B in any way and would recommend without hesitation to anyone wishing to stay in the area.
Michael and Ann, are great hosts and look after every guest, to make sure they enjoy their stay.
The breakfast had plenty of choice and Ann's home were both excellent.
The location was a short walk into the village centre.
