I liked the privacy - so easy to check in without any hassle, was able to make a cuppa and do some work. The cafe downstairs is also so handy for breaks if you're working from the room. If I was staying longer I'd avail of the microwave - there's an M + S across the road.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
We spent the New Years Eve in the WAW Barn. It was the perfect setup for a group of friends with the barn having everything we needed. The pool table and darts board provided lots of entertainment and Seamus was a great host giving us recommendations and setting us up with taxi numbers etc for the short spin into Oranmore.
Great location and the property is brilliant for what we wanted. Kids had a ball which is all you need really. Pool table was a great addition to the property. Seamus is a great host and always available when needed.
Oranmore is a warm and comfortable home with excellent facilities and in a great location; walking distance to the village containing numerous pubs and restaurants and an easy bus ride into Galway. It is also on the Wild Atlantic Way for those wishing to explore this Ann was a superb hostess, very friendly and helpful and produced excellent breakfasts. Couldn’t fault this B&B in any way and would recommend without hesitation to anyone wishing to stay in the area.
Michael and Ann, are great hosts and look after every guest, to make sure they enjoy their stay.
The breakfast had plenty of choice and Ann's home were both excellent.
The location was a short walk into the village centre.
