I had a fantastic stay at this property! The owner gave me a very warm welcome, which made me feel right at home. She recommended a wonderful farm-to-fork restaurant called Honesty, which was exactly what I needed, and also provided me with great ideas for other things to do in the area.
The single bedroom was excellent value for money—clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The location of the B&B is very central, with no problems finding parking. Many attractions and amenities were within walking distance, making it very convenient.
One of the things I loved most was the cozy sitting room and the charming little kitchen where you could prepare your own breakfast. It really added a personal touch and made the stay feel even more special. You can tell that the owner is incredibly thoughtful and caring, with everything perfectly organized and meticulously maintained. Highly recommended!

Jessica was a great host, really welcoming and friendly. The place was a little tricky to find as there was no sign and the Eircode took me a couple of hundred yards too far, but a quick call to Jessica sorted it all. Very comfortable bed, and everything was spotless and fresh.

Patricia could not have been more welcoming. The breakfast was delicious - including the home made bread. The fire in the lounge was so cozy and we were made to feel like family. The setting was amazing. Waking up to the sunrise over the horse fields was the most beautiful picture I have of Ireland. Did not take advantage of the heated indoor swimming pool or have a look at the boat building - will return to stay for longer to partake in more of the activities.

Lovely quiet rural location. Andrew and Ruth were very friendly hosts, not forgetting the delightful Rosco who popped round to visit. Plenty to go and see in the surrounding area.
Well, everything. This beautiful old home has been utterly and lovingly restored by a welcoming and wonderful host. Every detail from the careful décor to the welcome scent of a peat fire somewhere was charming and comfortable. There was even a nice guitar and whistle on hand, so we had some fun.

A beautiful house, in a very quiet location but still 5 mins from the town centre…Kate is a great host, and provides a very hearty breakfast, soooo quiet at night and had a relaxing nights sleep in a very comfortable bed…will definitely go back
Hartley House is a charming property set in the tranquil Leitrim countryside a stones throw from the River Shannon. Kate warmly greeted us on arrival and provided refreshments in the form of hot drinks and apple pie with ice cream! Kate was a fountain of information, a great craic and certainly the hostess with the mostest! We had an excellent nights sleep in a comfortable room, with nice touches e.g. fresh fruit. The breakfast in short, was superb!
This guesthouse is about 5 km out of town but it suited us perfectly. It is by the river and and in a beautiful and quiet location. Kate is the best host we have met in our travels, so friendly and helpful. She even offered to drive us into town for dinner. The house is magnificent and has a lot of history. We loved our stay here.
