The Old Schoolhouse of Warren Lodge Boutique Cottages, hotel in Carrick on Shannon

Situated within the picturesque and award-winning village of Dromond, County Leitrim, Warren Lodge is an elegant Georgian house offering free parking and easy access to the beautiful Irish...

The location is a fantastic little harbour village and is really scenic and clean. There are 3 fabulous restaurants all within a minute to 5 minutes walk. The property itself is outstanding. It's so clean and has everything you will need. We went to Lough Key forest for activities, hired bikes and did the Blueway from Leitrim Village to Drumshanbo to the Distillery shed for the gin and whiskey tour, had a picnic at the acres lake (floating boardwalk across the lake, children's playground, tennis courts & outdoor heated swimming pool) and then cycled back. We will most definitely return to this property. The hosts are so accommodating and nothing is too much trouble but at the same time only there if you need anything. Thanks Maria

Lovely quiet rural location. Andrew and Ruth were very friendly hosts, not forgetting the delightful Rosco who popped round to visit. Plenty to go and see in the surrounding area.

Well, everything. This beautiful old home has been utterly and lovingly restored by a welcoming and wonderful host. Every detail from the careful décor to the welcome scent of a peat fire somewhere was charming and comfortable. There was even a nice guitar and whistle on hand, so we had some fun.

Hartley House is a charming property set in the tranquil Leitrim countryside a stones throw from the River Shannon. Kate warmly greeted us on arrival and provided refreshments in the form of hot drinks and apple pie with ice cream! Kate was a fountain of information, a great craic and certainly the hostess with the mostest! We had an excellent nights sleep in a comfortable room, with nice touches e.g. fresh fruit. The breakfast in short, was superb!

This guesthouse is about 5 km out of town but it suited us perfectly. It is by the river and and in a beautiful and quiet location. Kate is the best host we have met in our travels, so friendly and helpful. She even offered to drive us into town for dinner. The house is magnificent and has a lot of history. We loved our stay here.
