We loved our stay here. It is located on a more quiet area north of Ubud. You can hear the jungle every morning and night and have breakfast overlooking the lush greens. The staff is so attentive and helpful. My shirt teared open and one of the staff sawed it back together for me🥹 I could not recommend it more. We will be back
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Mega is an exceptionally great host, who is very friendly and attentive.
We really enjoyed having our own villa and private pool, therefore a lot of privacy. The facilities are in perfect condition as the villas are BRAND NEW. We could rent a scooter from them, in great condition and for a reasonable price.
Right around the corner is a really nice temple, the ceking riceterasse is near by, and Mt Batur is just half an hour drive away.
There are some nice restaurants as well as mini markets and laundry options in walking distance.
Beautiful, peaceful, amazing pool, comfortable bed - exactly what we needed after months of staying in hostel dorms! It's also a great location for exploring waterfalls and rice terraces.
Highly recommend to stay at Villa Wedang for 2/3 days if you are traveling around Bali. Really happy we choose to stay here instead of Ubud city centre. This was perfect to get some rest after we stayed in Canggu. The view is super nice and it’s close by the rice terraces. Also enough nice places (recommend Tis café) for lunch/diner in the neighborhood!
The place was super clean and the hosts were really friendly!
Triana and her husband were wonderful hosts... everything from recommendations to helping you out in a bind (I was unprepared for a certain monthly arrival and Triana brought me everything I needed so quickly). The breakfasts were lovely and it was a quiet, calm, absolutely stunning location. I will definitely be back!
Mbak Triana was a great host, very welcoming and forthcoming. She was a star.
Property was immaculate and comfortable room with relaxing ambiance.
This was the best hospitality that I had so far in Bali with full of truly Indonesian cultures served by Mbak Triana that really down to earth.
The view was one of the best I've seen in Bali!!
The hotel and rooms overlook beautiful green rice terraces. The infinity pool is also great. The rooms have a multimedia system and Netflix which make for a great movie night as well. The location is quite remote and there are hardly any eateries nearby, but that is what makes the place even more serene. Lenon at the hotel was a great host and was very helpful and helped arrange a tour of the nearby Aloha swing, the rice terraces and coffee plantation.
Wayan and his family are great hosts and took care of us very well. The place is more beautiful than on pictures. If you love a less touristic place this is the spot for you.
You can even rent a scooter there, what we did to explore the Ubud area.
10/10
We stayed here for 2 weeks & absolutely loved it, the villa is in a great location with beautiful views and natural surroundings. Triana & her husband were great hosts, helping us with taxis, places to visit, scooter hire & anything else we needed. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our honeymoon, thank you to Triana & family for making it so special.
