The bed was amazing, the place was super clean. There’s some new landscaping happening around the pool that will look great when done. The staff were so lovely and friendly. The restaurant ran by the same family was fantastic. I would definitely stay again.

Spacious suite, private pool and veranda. Staff were always on hand and very helpful. Staff sorted out bike hire, laundry and were very eager to help with any little things which we needed. Definitely recommend bike hire to get around, popping to supermarket etc.

this is a charming family run place directly in front of a fabulous snorkelling spot. Staff were attentive without being intrusive, and best of all, they seem really happy to be working here. For me it is an important marker of good business that staff are treated fairly and well, and the staff at this place seemed totally content and relaxed, as well as being competent and diligent. This was a very big plus for me.
The rooms are sweet and comfortable. I was upgraded to an air-conditioned room, which contained not one but two lovely couches! There were lots of thoughtful details, like lighting a mosquito coil and leaving a small bottle of repellent for you at dusk.
The snorkelling directly in front of the accommodation is great. Hot tip - you need to swim about 50 metres out to get past the rubble and sea grass to where the reef proper starts. I did a couple of drift snorkels where I walked a few hundred metres up the beach and swam back. This was also great.
The owners were very accommodating when I had a couple of unusual requests. I genuinely hope that this little spot thrives and endures so I can return in future years.

We liked the place a lot, the owner and the staff are very kind and friendly, always happy to have a little chat. The room was good, the aircon worked well and the bathroom is really spacious :-). We didn`t miss anything, the accomodation is functional and simple, but that`s what we expected, so we enjoyed our stay a lot. The included breakfast was good, the fresh juices are really tasty and we got a free welcome drink :).
And yes, there was only salt water to shower, but this is what you get on a small island, for showering it was ok and for brushing the teeth or washing our hair, we just used bottled water.

Amazing location ! The beach is one of the best parts of the island. There are lots of options for seating too which is a plus. Lovely warung to have all meals if you want but even the breakfast is yummy with many options.
There was also many warungs and restaurants all around us.
The staff are very friendly and helpful - we hired bikes off them to explore the island.
The beds are very comfortable and the aircon is great. Many kittens around which is always such a wonderful addition. Amazing value for money.
Would recommend to anyone!

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Great location on nice quiet part of the island, just a short walk away to snorkelling points and a number of warungs. Breakfast was incredible. The staff are very doting and help you out with whatever you request. Excellent value for money. Each room is very private as well.
Densi and family were lovely hosts, very friendly and welcoming and helped us with anything we needed. The room was great and breakfast was delicious. Location is good, in a nice quiet area but only 10 minute walk to the beach.
Great location, about a 2 minute walk to the pier / eateries. The bed was huge! Working shower and toilet. Air con was great!! Pretty quiet (no street noise / noise from other guests). The one staff member we interacted with was lovely.
Very nice, private villa with big terrace and small private pool with cold water - just what needed in hot Gili days. Hot water in shower, but with salty water - be prepared. Comfortable bed, good WiFi, good AC. Very quiet neighborhood- even mosque not so good hearing as in other areas. 5 minutes from beach when you can snorkeling and about 10-15 minutes from underwater statues. Beer at the property more cheaper than in other cafes or shops around
Lina and Heri were great hosts, loved the peaceful location, beds were clean and very comfortable, there were also some cute friendly kittens during our stay. WiFi access limited to number of users, but not an issue as restaurants nearby had good WiFi if we weren't always able to get on Meno Cottages. Very good budget bungalow accommodation if you're looking for a quiet, calm place to stay with nice people to look after you.
