Friendly and professional staff, wonderful nature and great location right next to the Sutla River. Great for exploring the region of Zagorje, that's known for its green, hilly land, several museums and castles in the vicinity. Great starting point for exploring sights of neighboring Slovenia as well.
Great value for that price, was much better then I thought based on pictures. Room was specious and bed comfortable. Guesthouse was clearly renovated, but kept some (polished) countryside details in dining room. Furniture in the room is rather old school, but high quality, like in some expensive old hotels.
Location was perfect. You are isolated, but still very close to the city. The host was great, we did a little wine tasting and even gave us a bottle of wine as a gift.
