The Byron has a great location in an old very beautifully renovated family house, next to the cathedral. It is removed from the bustle of the main plaza but still very close.
The oddity is that the checking is not at the hotel but in a shop located outside the walls of the old city. Once we got there the staff could not have been nicer in showing us the way to the hotel (a short walk, with no serious steps to speak of, which in Dubrovnik can be a serious obstacle for disabled people). They have answered our many queries with grace and helpfulness.
A great place to stay and get the feel of what it could have been to be living in Dubrovnik two centuries ago without the hardships of the time !

The on-site restaurant was fabulous! We had breakfast included and it was such a wonderful way to start our day. The staff was so nice and helpful! They helped with ideas to sight see and also to get around in the car for our next destination. Make sure you leave time to hang out by one of the pools all day. You will not regret it!

This charming appartement is located in a quiet area a bit outside the busy and crowded city centre of Dubrovnik. The terrace has a stunning sea-view and there is a beach place on walking distance. Price-quality wise this has been one of the best places we have stayed during our trip through the Balkans. The hosts are lovely people, we immediately felt welcome. Upon arrival, they even prepared a home made welcome drink and gave us a great explanation of the city map.
Lady host is very kind and helpful. She helped us a lot on departure day with check out. She was always available by phone if I had any questions. The apartment is clean and tidy. A place equipped with everything you need (except an iron). A lot of towels and kitchen stuff. TV with smart function. Great location, quiet and safe. Close to the city center. I recommend it very much.

Great location (away from the crowds, roughly 25 min walking distance to the city center). The room (with private bathroom) had enough space and was very clean. It also had a private fridge and some cutlery/dishes/cups, which were very useful to prepare the breakfast (not included) for the next morning. There are cords and springs for hanging your wet clothes. Dyka (sorry if I misspelled it) is a great hostess and I definitely recommend this place.
The location of this Apartment is just great! Super quiet, perfect view from the balcony and just a 5 Minute (stairs!) walk to the beautiful sea. Anita was very helpful and a great host. You can take the bus (10 minutes) to the city center, which is absolutely convenient.
