Guest house Lekhtagi, hotel in Mestia

Situated just 1.1 km from Museum of History and Ethnography, Guest house Lekhtagi features accommodation in Mestia with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen.

Our stay at Guest House Lekhtagi was absolutely lovely. The property itself is charming, well-maintained, and offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The hosts were exceptionally friendly, accommodating, and made us feel right at home. Their hospitality truly added a special touch to our experience. The only challenge we faced was the walk to the guest house, which was a bit difficult due to the snow. However, the beautiful surroundings and warm hospitality made it all worthwhile. Overall, a fantastic stay, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Just be prepared for a snowy trek if visiting in winter!

Mestia 4 season, hotel in Mestia

Located just 1.3 km from Museum of History and Ethnography, Mestia 4 season offers accommodation in Mestia with access to a bar, a shared lounge, as well as room service.

I stayed at this hotel with my friends during the new year’s season. Hosts were super friendly and very helpful. They made sure we got everything we needed and additionally, without us even asking, gave us free homemade food during new year. The hotel has a really great location, only 10 minute walk from the City Center. Hotel offers free tea, coffee and cakes during the day. Rooms were great, bed was really comfortable and it was really warm inside despite the cold weather outside. On the last floor, there is a cozy rooftop that you can use in summer and also in the winter, with a wonderful view over Mestia. Will come back❤️

We stayed for one night only on our Mestia-Ushguli trekking tour - if I had known that this place was that beautiful I would have stayed longer! The room was really nice; it was the best one we had in Georgia! It had wooden parts and you can see that it has been built with love! It was very clean also. The view outside the window into nature was awesome. It was very quiet and rural. The bathroom was huge, very modern and spotless! There was a terrace for community use which was just incredibly beautiful. We had dinner at night and breakfast in the morning, both was extremely delicious and plenty with a huge variety of choices. We are vegetarian which was no problem at all. The food provided was so much that we couldn't finish everything. It was the best food we had on the whole trekking tour! The owner have a cute cat and a friendly dog. They let us bring our cat which was very nice. The lady who owns this place is incredibly friendly and warm-hearted. I wish I had been able to talk to her in Georgian language. I highly recommend this place!

Irma and her son are incredible hosts! They are so friendly, kind hearted people 🥰 The guest house perfectly located near the city center, room is spacious, new and sparkling clean and also has balcony. Irma helped us and booked us a tour to Ushguli and amazing Shkhara glacier. We also used a laundry room (and a dryer) which was a necessity after hiking and lovely kitchen, where we made our own breakfast. There is a huge terrace on top of the house, where you can spend evening with a great view

Maybe the room is not the most modern one but it is clean and comfortable. Close to the city center, quiet and a parking place. A nice garden and a kitchen. But above all, the host family is great, friendly and welcoming. They gave valuable advice about what to do in the region. And that’s far more important than a more modern room.

Everything - but first and foremost the host! Salome really goes the extra mile to make you feel as comfortable as possible. The rooms and bathrooms are beautiful and clean, the area is quiet and has amazing views, and the home-cooked food is to die for. We felt so welcome and really enjoyed every minute. This was easily the best guest house experience we’ve ever had 😊

Great location about 1km from city center; quiet; very comfortable. Guests hung out in the large dining room providing a homey, welcoming atmosphere. Host was good to respond to requests. Breakfast was included and quite good. We were given a gift of svaneti salt as we departed. She also helped to arrange our ride back to Zugdidi. Definitely recommend.
