Close to work, very clean and easy to use, very comfortable bed which was beautifully made up with generous number of cushions and pillows. The staff member who met me was friendly and helpful.

Everything very clean and well presented. I had the small double which suited me as a solo traveller. It had its own ensuite shower. All scrupulously clean.
Only slight drawback was that it was up 2 flights of rather steep stairs.. but there was a fridge on the landing for milk for tea and coffee which helped.
There was street parking outside initially and then once I had deposited my suitcase etc I was given a parking permit and took the car round to the Theatre car park. Plenty of room there. Walk back took about 4 minutes.
Breakfast was excellent..proper poached eggs! And gluten free toast. All very nice. Would stay again if travelling this way.

Beds are very comfortable and rooms are well equipped with tea/coffee, towels and cookies (very tasty!)
Breakfast was very nice, well cooked and prepared for us. Additional homemade jams and granola are also lovely. Plenty of room in the bedroom for both of us to get ready for a wedding we were attending. The shower was great and the bathroom was very clean.

A really nice atmosphere in a historic old building, and the staff went out of their way to make my stay pleasant. The breakfast was delicious and filling. The location on the high street is very convenient to all that Brecon has to offer.

Oh, what a treat our stay at Tegfan Garden Suite was! Not only was the cottage tastefully designed with a wonderfully outfitted kitchen but our hosts Helen and John were exceptional as well.
We arrived for our three night stay without any agenda. Helen gave us two well thought out days of activities with excellent dining suggestions as well. We didn't have to plan a thing.
The welsh products provided were delicious, delightfully including the products made by Helen. Breakfast from the provisions was a treat.
We were lucky enough to be there during lambing season. My husband loves lamb and bought some chops from the local butcher (who has a very nice selections of cheese, pies, olive oils, etc. in addition to meat). John arranged for us to use a fire pit including logs to linger outside after we barbecued the chops. It was lovely.
I can't imagine there would have been anywhere nicer to stay and enjoy the Brecon Beacons area.

When we first got there, I was very surprised. It's basically a residence, and they let out rooms, not like other B&Bs I've been to. But the owners are so lovely and welcoming, and really wanted us to be comfortable. The room we stayed in was very comfortable and clean, and the town is wonderful. Would 100% stay there again.

Our hosts were amazingly accommodating and the space was just perfect. Lovely pub just down the hill with plenty of kind folks. Gorgeous canal and locks for as much strolling as you could ever want. Just what we were looking for!!
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The breakfast was delicious and served earlier than usual because we had an appointment to keep
The host was helpful and friendly
The room was beautiful and the location was excellent for us but the village was a wonderfully quaint place to stay
Jan and Pip, the hosts are so welcoming. Amazing cook Pip. The room is so spacious and warm, a real treat. Great location with the Wye Valley at your doorstep. Great breakfast, so a must-have. We will be back from Australia 🇦🇺
Janet and David are charming hosts. They cared about our comfort and provided useful explanations. Breakfast was very tasty. The room provides everything you need. The location is very quiet and has nice views.
Fantastic host who is full of charming conversations. The hotel itself is nice, rooms are big and comfortable with large en-suite bathroom. Also bonus having Netflix in the room. Great central location in brecon beacons national park, your around an hour from most sights. Talgarth Town is really sweet and quiet
Overall Fantastic experience and I plan to make it regularly around twice a year
Great location in walking distance to Talgarth but a little out of town so as to be very quiet.
Lovely garden with great views, we were able to sit in the garden in the afternoon and in the evening.
Friendly welcoming host.
Great breakfast with lots of choice.
Great location in heart of the village yet very quiet - the little garden area was a great oasis. Every detail in the house seemed to have been carefully considered, making the stay very memorable. Martyn and Jo were excellent and friendly hosts.
A beautiful part of the country at the foot of the fine northern slopes of the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons.
Great location. Superb breakfast. Great hosts. Lovely rooms.
