A lovely quiet location, easy to find by car. Lovely hosts and a very comfortable room for 3 with ensuite. Beds were really comfortable and the ceiling fan cooled us down nicely. Amazing choice for breakfast..... almost every choice of cereal, teas, squashes as well as yogurts, cheeses and ham.... fabulous.

Absolutely everything. Charming old features. Beams across the ceiling. The biggest bed ever in the most spacious and comfiest of rooms ever. A lovely bathroom, too - finished to a high spec. Fantastic location... close enough to the airport but far enough away to feel like you were somewhere in the countryside. Wondeful host, too

This is a charming place, very quiet and beautiful. There were other guest there but we never heard anyone. The room is peaceful and clean. We stayed here on our anniversary, and our host's husband was kind enough to give us a ride to the nearby pub for dinner- we really appreciated that. Sadly we didn't get to stay long because of a really early flight- wish we'd been able to enjoy this place longer.

Charming place to stay, and very convenient for an overnight stay after a late flight into Stansted - infinitely nicer than a faceless airport hotel. The host picked me up and dropped me off at the station again the next morning at a time of my choosing - £7 each way - which was brilliant. It could have been a long wait for a taxi! Quiet, comfortable, very clean, and really friendly, obliging hosts.
