I must admit I was a little nervous about staying here and wondered if it was going to be a little Fawlty Towers like! How wrong I was! Everything was great. Easy to find wit a nice little car park. Warm, friendly welcome on arrival. Spotless and well equipped room. Very comfortable bed and and room was warm and quiet. Highly recommended!

Room was very clean and comfortable, decided to go with the continental breakfast and wasn't disappointed. Power shower in the en-suite was very good, if a wee bit noisy. Useful to have on-site parking. Very helpful staff and would stay again.

The property is really well located in a nice and safe area.
It is very clean and tidy. I liked the pad lock at the entrance as it feels quite safe and it’s easy to use without the key. The room was amazing with a great and calm view. I will definitely come back! (There’s also a bus stop right in front of the guest house so it’s very practical)

The location was perfect, as we were involved in activities at a college five minutes' walk. We loved the bathroom too, and the teeny kitchen, though it did not meet the spec. suggested - e.g. fridge? No, it was a wine cooler! Nespresso coffee maker? No coffee - and it was a Lavazza. The design of the whole interior of this teeny building was cleverly thought through. Also, like others before us, we found the peace and quiet to be amazing for the centre of Oxford - although as St Michael's Street was blocked off due to roadworks, perhaps this was just valid for now.

Host very welcoming and friendly. I was able to use an off road parking space in front of the guest house. On a good bus route to city centre, Good selection of toast and cereal for breakfast. Room clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water. I was in a very quiet room at the back of the house.
Lovely house in a quiet neighbourhood with a great host. I spend two weeks with Melody and I really felt at home. With the busses it‘s quite fast to reach the city centre (especially if you‘re used to living in bigger cities) or — if you feel sporty — you can walk a 45 minutes through the fields of port meadow among the oxen’s. I really liked it!

Quiet location - we've stayed in central Oxford before and it can be very noisy (sirens and revellers). This was ideal. Lovely old building. Room was clean, comfortable and great location - short walk into the city centre and all the sight seeing you want.
Very nice studio in a great location. The studio was clean and very comfortable, during the night it was very quiet even though it is rather close to a busy road. It is within walking distance of the city centre. Overall it had a very high standard for Oxford accommodation and great value for money. Friendly and very helpful host! We would definitely stay here again.
