Location was perfect for my trip, staff were exceptionally welcoming and friendly and breakfast was superb. Great view out to sea from the Bar. Room was small however it did state that it was a small single which met my overnight needs perfectly. Plenty free parking outside and close to town centre as well as beach.

There is not much to not love about this property. From the warm welcome from our host Joy to the well appointed room. Carisbrooke is within comfortable walking distance to the centre of Inverness. There is ample off street parking for those who are driving. Joy was so helpful with suggestions of places to visit during our stay. Breakfast was excellent and the dining facilities clean and stocked with cereals and yoghurt. Room was serviced which was a nice touch. Would definitely return if so lucky to visit the UK.

The welcome chocolates on the pillow were a lovely touch and not to mention the breakfast. Really tasty and traditional Scottish breakfast options.

Absolutely loved our stay at Fonthill bed and breakfast. Janice was so warm, welcoming and hospitable. Felt like a home away from home - quiet, comfortable and cosy. Great bed and shower and the most delicious complimentary cooked breakfast. Great central location - 2 minute walk to 'one one two wine bar and eatery' where we had the most delightful dinner. Highly recommend staying here :) won't be disappointed.

Not only will the hosts do everything to make your stay very wonderfull, great rooms. We had a separate but pacious bathroom, they provided the ropes. Good bed, very clean room. They try to adjust the breakfast to their customers. What a great hosts they are! .
Great location, big rooms with great decor . Plenty of tea and coffee etc and biscuits. Lovely host and guy cooked fantastic vegetarian breakfasts. Close to the beach and town . Evening meals were great too but you must book as it’s popular, especially weekends

Possibility to use a washing machine and dryer. Free continental breakfast, drinks, coffee, tea, cereals, toast. Great location. I would highly recommend it. I will definitely come back 😊

The host Sheelagh and her team were very attentive and welcoming nothing was too much trouble. The house was exceptionally clean and worked closely with covid restrictions. The breakfasts were fantastic with a large selection that catered for everyone’s needs. Very family friendly guest house in quiet secure surroundings. Would definitely recommend a visit.
