Location was great. 10 minutes walk from the opera house, theatre, bars and restaurants etc and right by the Pavilion Gardens. There's a pedestrian, leafy walk outside the front of the hotel, with vehicle access at the rear, do really nice and quiet. Breakfast was freshly cooked, good quality ingredients and Sharon, who served us at breakfast, was great. A perfect host

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Was cheap quiet comfortable and staff friendly.
After reading a few of the reviews was thinking it was going to be a weather spoons style hotel. Arrived and checked in quick. Staff friendly rooms have been updated so was happy with a nice bed and spacious clean room. The carvery was ok as we were starving. It was quiet and no functions on but happy with the beer food and service. Breakfast was great. Nice and chill. Happy with room b and b for £75 after a long few days travelling .
We felt very welcomed when we arrived & check in went smoothly.
Ordered breakfast evening before to save time in the morning as we was heading to. Alton Towers so wanted to be organised.
Wasn't a problem we come down for breakfast & it was pretty much ready.
Great location & scenery.
Quiet at night & beds comfortable.
Tea, coffee & biscuits too....... With mini shampoo & shower gels & towels provided.
Would recommend & will be booking again when we next stay at Alton Towers.
Amazing breakfast which set me up for the day. Beautiful old building. Friendly host and plenty of parking though the slope is steep which my long estate car didn't like, had to go very slowly exiting the car park! Great location for the town and a very reasonable price for B&B.
Really welcoming host, Nick was also very helpful letting us know where various places were in Leek.
The hotel was quiet, food delicious, service top class, great place
We found the room very comfortable and clean, the room we stayed in was called the King room on the very top floor.
it was lovely and quiet, although its important to mention that it could be tricky for anyone that finds stairs a problem? Nick was a great host, he took the time to make us welcome and was very attentive at meal times. The breakfast was first class and very welcome!
We had two very comfortable nights and would certainly stay again, thank you once again kind regards, Alistair & Amanda Norton.
