The building was old and had character, as did the room. Room was large and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, suggesting places to eat. The breakfast was nice and plentiful.

The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The property doesn't look much from the outside, but we couldn't fault the room, which pleasantly surprised us. The Host was full of useful information.

A little noisy upstairs with residents who were very heavy footed. Could hear most of everything said and done but after they left it was all peaceful again

A fantastic stay, very friendly hosts and stunning building with well tended surroundings. We stayed one night but would gladly have stayed much longer.
Would also recommend the breakfast, very filling and much needed ahead of a long journey.
The staff was welcoming. Loved the quietness and nature around the place. Plenty of places to walk around. We had our dog, didn't have any issues taking her out. We had a guest lounge to sit and relax and have coffee. My daughter found the bed was comfy. Good size room.
Great location and amazingly friendly hosts who upgraded us to a ensuite room on arrival. Made myself and my partner very welcome and the cafe and shop are well worth a visit in the morning for a good breakfast and some lovely gifts and stock in the shop. Would return in a heartbeat.
