Great old pub with excellent staff and facilities

Kat welcomed me upon arrival with bonafide friendliness and showed me around the Lodge which has so much character and is so very cosy! The communal kitchen is perfectly outfitted with all you'd need to prepare almost any meal and is so very clean and easy to clean after use. Kat and I talked for a half and hour or so outside the Lodge shortly after I had settled in and it was easy to see that she genuinely engages in conversation with guests with interest. I saw Chris as I headed out on on a walk to get some groceries and although he was talking with someone else he called out a greeting to me and gave a big wave. There's a great welcome guide in the rooms with a history of the property, synopsis of the conservation efforts ongoing on the farm, information on local shops, etc. You will not be bothered by the hosts but if you have a question or just want to say hello, rest assured you can knock on their door and know you will be more than well received!

The hospitality of the manager of the place, Dani, is outstanding. He treats you like you were at home. Congratulations in particular to him and the rest of the staff.

A great little studio in an ideal area. Was visiting the area to do some house viewings and this room was perfect for the weekend. All the facilities I could need and a really nice room and layout. Top marks all round, would recommend this place. The shiny doorman in the entrance was a nice little feature too.

Very comfortable, beautiful room with all the amenities one could wish for, very clean, it was easy to retrieve the key with a code, great bed, coudl have stayed more nights if it had been necessary. Excellent location.
