Everything very clean and well presented. I had the small double which suited me as a solo traveller. It had its own ensuite shower. All scrupulously clean.
Only slight drawback was that it was up 2 flights of rather steep stairs.. but there was a fridge on the landing for milk for tea and coffee which helped.
There was street parking outside initially and then once I had deposited my suitcase etc I was given a parking permit and took the car round to the Theatre car park. Plenty of room there. Walk back took about 4 minutes.
Breakfast was excellent..proper poached eggs! And gluten free toast. All very nice. Would stay again if travelling this way.

Close to work, very clean and easy to use, very comfortable bed which was beautifully made up with generous number of cushions and pillows. The staff member who met me was friendly and helpful.

A really nice atmosphere in a historic old building, and the staff went out of their way to make my stay pleasant. The breakfast was delicious and filling. The location on the high street is very convenient to all that Brecon has to offer.

I loved absolutely everything! It exceeded my expectations. Beautiful property throughout. My room, Betsi, was very well equipped, with personal touches and great attention to detail. I even had a kitchenette that I didn't expect. The owners, Claire and Chris, were really lovely, too.

Margaret was a lovely, friendly host. We especially liked the ultra-modern shower with precise temperature controls! As Americans accustomed to air conditioning, the little A/C was really nice to have as well! There's a beautiful little garden out back, and it's only a 5-10 minute walk to town.

Oh, what a treat our stay at Tegfan Garden Suite was! Not only was the cottage tastefully designed with a wonderfully outfitted kitchen but our hosts Helen and John were exceptional as well.
We arrived for our three night stay without any agenda. Helen gave us two well thought out days of activities with excellent dining suggestions as well. We didn't have to plan a thing.
The welsh products provided were delicious, delightfully including the products made by Helen. Breakfast from the provisions was a treat.
We were lucky enough to be there during lambing season. My husband loves lamb and bought some chops from the local butcher (who has a very nice selections of cheese, pies, olive oils, etc. in addition to meat). John arranged for us to use a fire pit including logs to linger outside after we barbecued the chops. It was lovely.
I can't imagine there would have been anywhere nicer to stay and enjoy the Brecon Beacons area.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Everything! Clare is a great host, location is spot on, the flat is furnished beautifully and we wanted for nothing. Loved Crickhowell, it’s stunning high street had everything. The walks with views were out of this world. It was vibrant, the pubs and food were great and the locals are so friendly. Can’t wait to come back.
Great location on the high street and near everything which was really convenient. Cosy feel to flat - especially liked the decor in the bedroom. Private, secure & quiet flat with everything we needed both in the flat & on our doorstep. The host send an informative & helpful email prior to our stay.
Great location. Good value. Good pub with food 100m along road.
Close to crickhowell (20 min walk).
Lovely surrounding countryside.
Hosts very friendly and responsive.
Great location for a quiet get away. The loft was beautifully converted into a snug getaway for two and was extremely well equipped. We had a brilliant weekend here and would definitely visit again. It was suprisingly spacious and very comfortable, with modern facilities and a pub at the end of the road for when we didn't fancy cooking - couldn't ask for more!
What a lovely place to stay! Quiet, great location on the canal with narrow boats and very handy to local pub. Also great base for walking in the Beacons. Our hosts Joan and Des were friendly and helpful.
Charming, intimate place with a great view. Great location with easy access to both Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons. Breakfast was really yummy and timely served & the host was friendly and very chatty. We had a fantastic weekend. I would thoroughly recommend a stay there
Charming hotel in a great location to explore and enjoy Crickhowell. Fantastic welcome from our hosts Alex and Cory . Room was lovely with great views . Breakfast was brilliant. Couldn’t fault the place. We will be returning in the future.
