I had the most excellent stay at The Merchants House. I was met with such grace and hospitality from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. Fiona made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The place was very clean, safe, and I felt right at home. Not to mention the food was delicious.

Everything, very nice lady was very accommodating even had a small decanter of whiskey at the bedside nice touch access to the kitchen and the dining area during the stay and parking was on the street right by the front door

Pat and Bill are very welcoming hosts. The bedroom was spotless. They had thought of everything. All the modern conveniences of a high class hotel in a charming Bed and Breakfast. Pat made us a taste packed breakfast to take on our early ferry the next morning. We would definitely stay here again.
Great location for an overnight stay after returning by ferry from Ireland. The caravan site was very quiet which resulted in a good night's sleep. The keys are kept in a locked coded box, we did not see the hosts on this occasion.
