The location (5 mins from both ferry terminals) was perfect, the room was very comfortable and clean. We failed to prebook the evening meals but this was not a problem and Fiona cooked us three fab meals and then joined us in the snug for evening drinks and chat. Very very relaxed atmosphere with a real fire on the go.

Was given a friendly greeting at the front door by the owner and shown around. The breakfast was excellent. I enjoyed having a swim after a long drive. Best thing there was real milk in my room for my coffee, what a treat. As a solo female traveler I felt safe in the property.

Corsewall Arms Guest House, hotel in Stranraer

Corsewall Arms Guest House is situated in Stranraer and offers a terrace.

Absolutely everything was amazing. We got parked right outside. The room was immaculately clean, so welcoming, and the bed was exceptionally comfy! The whole experience was a solid 10/10. We never had the pleasure of meeting Jo. However, I received a wonderful text the next day asking how everything was. Approx 20 min drive to/from P&O Cairnryan. Perhaps 30 mins to Stena? It's exactly what we needed after a long day of travel! Perfect!

Much to expensive as they were playing on the fact holyhead port was closed and people were using Cairnryan port to get back to Ireland. They bumped up the b/ b prices three fold

Pat and Bill are very welcoming hosts. The bedroom was spotless. They had thought of everything. All the modern conveniences of a high class hotel in a charming Bed and Breakfast. Pat made us a taste packed breakfast to take on our early ferry the next morning. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location for an overnight stay after returning by ferry from Ireland. The caravan site was very quiet which resulted in a good night's sleep. The keys are kept in a locked coded box, we did not see the hosts on this occasion.
