The perfect house with even better view and host! I stayed there for a friend's wedding and everything was amazing. The view and the sound of the water was just dreamy. Possibly the best weekend of this summer - 10/10

The location and the views were fantastic The hosts were like old friends and staff helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The house was full of useful and tasteful things eg binoculars, books, paintings etc. Bed and pillows super comfortable and great coffee machine in the room along with extra blanket and heater if required. Breakfast was delicious with a great choice of hot and cold food.
On the edge of Loch Lomond and a 30-minute drive from Glasgow and its airport, this 4-star guest house has hearty Scottish breakfasts and free Wi-Fi.

Love the spacious and clean rooms, and the lovely personal touch such as a cute sheep soft toy on the bed, and welcome tea when we checked in. Breakfast is great with many options to suit dietary requirement. Both John and Andrea were around at breakfast and it was really nice meeting our hosts.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.

We had a great stay in the lodge. Thorsten was a very friendly host with recommendations for the area. The rooms were very practical and charming, the communal kitchen was well equipped. Also a great location to discover the surroundings from. Would certainly recommend.
The guest house was really good. Torsten was a great host. Everything was set up perfectly for us. The shower was great and the drying facilities were spot on especially after a long hike. There was a communal kitchen and dining room set up for self-catering which was clean and comfortable
