Dorian House was the best hotel or B&B that we stayed in during our trip. Everything inside was immaculate and tasteful. Bed great, breakfast great, staff great. Best shower I've ever been in my whole life.
The location was good too. We had a car and wanted to stay outside of central Bath. The hotel had free parking and it was a 20 minute walk to the Roman Baths, albeit uphill coming back.

Loved the boutique feel of the place. Room very cosy, beds extremely comfy. The service by breakfast and cleaning staff was top notch, in particular Chloe, Eliza and Olaf were very kind and helpful

This is one of the loveliest B&Bs I've ever stayed in. The attention to detail, from the way the rooms are decorated to the presentation of breakfast dishes, was outstanding. I stayed the first floor room featured on the website. What a view over the rooftops of Georgian terraces! I looked out one morning as a hot air balloon glided by. Comfy bed and chair. Really beautiful and spacious bathroom.
I stayed for 10 nights during the Jane Austen Festival. The B&B is very close to the Assembly Rooms and handy to many events. I met another lady at an event who was also staying at Hill House, which made it more fun.
The hosts, Alex and Tina, could not have been more helpful. One of the staff even assisted me to lace up my Regency costume for an event. Tina's breakfasts were the best ever. (Far better than a famous London railway hotel I subsequently visited.)A work of art, really.
I thought, at first, that the location on the hill might have been a challenge, but I ended up enjoying the walk and got really fit. There are buses that stop close by, but I tended to walk everywhere. As a solo traveller this trip, and just into my 60s, this felt like the perfect home away from home with a wonderful Regency feel to enhance my Jane Austen Festival experience. Thanks Alex and Tina!

The location was amazing. Just a few steps away and you’re at the Royal Crescent.
This friendly, relaxing and elegant house is an easy walk from the historic city of Bath. Tyndall Villa Boutique B&B is a charming Victorian town house, built in 1874.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The location of this immaculate guesthouse was fantastic and I had a good night’s sleep. Checking in was smooth and I was given useful information prior to my visit. The hostess was so friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to help with any queries. Breakfast was good quality. I’d highly recommend this charming guest house. It was my second visit. Thank you!
Charming guest house very close to the city center and the train station. Some quirky features to enjoy in the architecture, generous breakfasts and quiet room. They are quite accommodating and allowed me to drop my beg off early and leave it there later on the last day.
Nice traditional bed and breakfast. But breakfast wasnt served. It was waiting in fridge, and it was just good. House has good feeling. Narrow stairs. Dont take oversize luggage. This guest house doesnt suit for modernists. Location is a little far away from city centre but walkable, and nice riverside route. Really helpfull owner who lives nextdoor. Quiet place and quiet street. Not cheap, but not so expensive as mony others in Bath.
Great location, close to the city centre. Quiet considering it’s on a busy road. Very clean with a well kitted out kitchen. Host was easy to contact and very helpful.
Excellent location for the centre of Bath, near all tourist hotspots but also quiet. Comfy bed and yummy breakfasts (and plenty of it!) Our room was right at the top so lots of steep stairs, but lovely roof top views. Quite a small room but quaint and very comfortable. Our host Christina was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely recommend this guest house and would stay there again should we make a return visit to Bath. Thank you Christina x
Clean, comfortable, simply charming and most definitely a home away from home. This has to be one of the cosiest accommodations available in Bath. Quiet surroundings and good bus links in to the city centre are an added bonus. Not to mention a passionate hostess who has clearly thought about everything from milk in the fridge, ice in the freezer, books and games for entertainment and even a hot water bottle for those chilly nights. I highly recommend it and have plans to visit again.
