Room was cosy and warm. location is great and the pub a few yards away is lovey. Great food and drink. Breakfast was a very nice cooked breakfast and the hosts have great local knowledge. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely spacious room (Room 9) with a lovely big bed. View out to sea from the bay window, which was a great place to sit and watch the world go by! It was quite chilly when we were there but the heater in the room certainly did it's job. The shower was powerful which was great. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was fab.

Ideal location just a few minutes walk into Sheringham. Lovely spotlessly clean room with very comfortable bed and pillows. The towels were luxurious and soft. Breakfast was amazing with so much choice. The lady who greeted us and served breakfast was so friendly and accommodating. Also a bonus was having free parking. Thankyou for a lovely stay .

Only little thing that would improve the bathroom was that it would have been nice to have a shelf to put your washbag/toiletries on, other then that the bathroom and shower was spacious and very clean.

Great location and the lodge was well equipped, clean and in such a relaxing location - faultless. The host was friendly on arrival and the welcome package was above and beyond. Overall the perfect getaway to a stunning part of Norfolk.
Elegant house, beautiful dining room, superb breakfast (especially the fresh fruit salad), comfy bed, owner welcoming and solicitous (eg providing a sheet so I could ditch the duvet on such a hot night, and fans in the room). Room quiet, with excellent thick curtains to keep out the morning light. Bath and shower excellent (and even a bathrobe). Two lovely little affectionate dogs to fuss over too - perfect!
An absolute delight to stay here. Beautiful home away from home with very friendly, attentive hosts. Sumptuous decor and furnishings in keeping with house's Grade II listed status. Room overlooked the lawn and walled garden. Modern, spacious bathroom. Very quiet location just five minutes from Aylsham and close to multiple historic village pubs and sights. Generous breakfast each morning. Very easy to park on grounds. Was sad to leave!
Jenny, the host, is a very friendly and welcoming lady who made us feel, instantly, at home. The house is charming within a few minutes drive from the centre of Aylsham. My husband and I really enjoyed the fresh fruit salad and porridge that we had for breakfast. Both were delicious. We also appreciated the fact that we had fresh milk for our early morning cup of tea, not a milk substitute out of a plastic tub.
Everything was perfect! Beautiful property, charming, attentive and informative hosts.
Great location for golfers, historical site-seeing, restaurants, gardens and beach.
