Tony and Natali were perfect hosts during our 2 night stay, including very helpful restaurant recommendations. We hadn’t initially booked breakfasts, but were glad we changed our mind on arrival … superb! Couldn’t fault the accommodation either, and we’d definitely stay there again if we’re back in Ballater.

The private bothy was such a unique and cozy place to stay. It was extremely quiet and private, and not difficult to get to at all. The bothy in general was about as clean as a place could possibly be, and it is obviously a very loved place. Furthermore, the recommendations of things to do by the hosts were spot on and really made the stay special. I would absolutely stay here again.

Everything. The house is wonderful, in a perfect location for attractions in the area. The place is quiet (with the river in the background), cosy and extremely well looked after. The hosts, Joyce and Garry are very kind and careful for every need. The food is of the highest quality from breakfast to dinner Highly recommended and we can't wait to go back!

The welcome. The overall accommodation, especially the chandeliers, the table silver wear, the decor, drinks in room, the quality of breakfasts and platters, the jams and marmalades and the very attentive and charming hosts.
