Spacious well-appointed studio right in the middle of the village situated above its own restaurant (P'tit Comptoir) - also excellent. Friendly and welcoming host (and restaurant staff). Large reasonably priced paying car park directly behind the property but large free car park also available if prepared to walk 400 yards. Large double windows looking directly out onto the small square. No problems at all with noise despite being directly above the restaurant. Several other very good restaurants to choose from in the vicinity, though our unbiased preference was definitely the one run by our hosts.

A very charming house with very friendly, helpful and hospitable owners. I would recommend you to utilize the opportunity of having a dinner with them. We also enjoyed the pool area and the beautiful garden pavillon with swings.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Very well furnished, tastefully decorated and in a great location. We received a warm welcome on arrival and staff were very approachable and friendly.
Breakfast was wonderful - bountiful fruit, local cheeses, homemade jams & local honey, fresh bread, and really delicious freshly baked homemade cakes. The hosts were energetic and thoughtful, going out of their way to be helpful on several occasions. They were also very engaging and interesting - they really helped make our trip to Salers that much more enjoyable.
The accommodation is superbly located in the centre of the lovely village. Hosts, Yves and Yann, are delightful; charming, very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. Breakfasts were lovely, we especially enjoyed the homemade jams and cakes, and it was lovely sitting in the garden when the weather permitted. Everything was exactly as we had hoped for.
The hosts were really helpful and friendly. They suggested lots of places to visitnand gave us guidebooks and maps. The breakfast is the best I ever had. Everything was home made including the jam and yogurt. I want to go back just for the breakfast and the hazelnut bread
Our room was very comfortable, and in a lovely rural setting. Only a short walk or drive to the village Salers. Jean-Claude was very hospitable & we enjoyed a delicious breakfast hosted by him. Thankyou
5/10 minute walk to the centre of the lovely village of Salers. Quiet location. Nice room and facilities. The owners were great and offered conversation and information. There was a superb collection of books and guides to the region. The walks in the Volcans are excellent and this is a great location for a number of them.
