It is a beautiful old style Douai house. Nice courtyard outside with BBQ options. Inside a nice kitchen with all you need. The price is the cheapest of Douia but it is more a hostel then hotel or airbnb.

The kind welcome and recommendations of what to visit we got from the host. They have 2 amazing dogs, we got the chance to play with them. The bathroom is exceptional and the room was comfortable. The location was excellent, the owners extremely helpful and friendly, the ground floor room was ideal for travelling with a dog, and was well equipped. I can highly recommend this property, particularly for solo travellers.

Good access- close to major roads so not a huge detour if you're passing through the area. The building itself is surrounded by lovely gardens ,so very peaceful with easy parking outside. Owners are extremely communicative and personable. Room is spacious, clean, luminous and well appointed. Only a few rooms so very quiet.

Once we got in it was very nice. Host very friendly and helpful. Private garden lovely - though unfortunately rainy weather prevented taking advantage. Very quiet. Very calm. Quality ingredients in breakfast - real fresh orange juice for example. Not for those who like something modern though.

It is close to the centre of Douai and thus ticks that box. It is also in a pleasant and quiet square. Our room costs £98 a night which is cheap by today's standards. This was during the rugby World Cup when most hotels were profiteering by charging exorbitant prices of 2-4 times true cost, so that was a plus point and was why I chose this hotel over others.

This is an outstanding bed and breakfast. A beautiful house is maintained with great taste and elegance by the hosts who welcome you warmly to their residence. The rooms are spacious and convenient to work from, the location central and the breakfast is fabulous. I had diet preferences, and Isabelle catered to them without compromising her high standards for natural and organic ingredients.
