A rare occasion when a Hotel exceeds the expectations!
We stayed two nights. Our room was clean and tastefully decorated in the style that goes with the Chateau's general appearance, but with the modern convenience of good climate control, modern bathroom and great bed.
A warm welcome from the host and easy no nonsense check in. Aside from the room with great views of the vineyard there is a communal kitchen/space with a fridge and coffee facilities that is shared with other hotel residents.
Breakfast can be had inside or outside in a quiet location behind the house. Included in the room rate you also get a wine tasting with wines from their own production which was well presented and Very tasty.
We will absolutely be back!

It was an opportunity to experience a unique story of a chateau which was steeped in the history of aeroplane invention and lovingly restored from near ruin by a family who very nearly committed to making it French TV’s own ‘Escape to the Chateau’. It is quirky and perhaps not the finished article, but much appreciated by us and it seems the other guests. To like? The grounds and ease of parking. Small number of guests, care and attention of staff, fabulous location at the confluence of Loire and Maine.

Lovely bedroom. Very nice bathroom. Good breakfast selection, with cereals, yoghurt, fruit and bread. The weather was wet so we didn't use the swimming pool. Nice location in the country convenient for driving to Angers.

Wonderful stay in an artistically put together home. Hostess was delightful- engaging and friendly. Lovely toiletries- nice touch. Breakfast table was absolutely beautiful when we came down in the morning. Breakfast itself was a yummy continental fare. Pity we were only there for one night. Highly recommended!

The host has just placed the property on Booking.Com. Great location across the river from town, and accessible on a footpath or cycle path (not far). Bed comfortable, and home has all the amenities. There are lots of birds in the trees around the property, so come with a bird song app !

We loved our stay at Les Mariniers. The hosts are delightful and helpful with good advice on which route to take the next day on our St Malo to Nice cycle ride-we were very happy that we took their advice on a nice quiet route. We enjoyed our conversations with the hosts.
The rooms are beautifully decorated, lots of seating areas downstairs both inside and outside to relax. A welcome beer was very welcome!

Lovely self contained accommodation on the first floor of the outbuilding in the garden. It consisted of bedroom, lounge, bathroom. Very stylish mix of rustic, old & modern. Great location, only 2 minutes walk from the river & restaurants. The hosts were lovely people and very helpful.
We stayed for 3 nights and we were delighted with the friendliness of our hosts, they are a lovely family and we're so helpful and kind. The rooms and facilities are excellent and designed with traditional French 'feel' overlooking the Loire.
Breakfast are wonderful and a great start to the day.
We wish them well in their b and b business, they deserve to succeed after the quiet years of Covid
A really lovely place to stay and great location. Julie and Aurélien were great hosts, greeted warmly. The room was large, bed very comfortable with Tea and Coffee facilities and super soft towels. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice and good coffee. I would definitely stay here again. Many thanks.
