Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. Easy to find, very clean flat, cozy and spacious. Near the road but quite inside, lots of light, good beds, nice TV, clean large balcony, bath instead of usual shower in the bathroom. Washing machine and microwave. Free parking in the yard. Prisma and Lidl are just 3 min away by car. About 10 min by car from Kotka city center.

The guesthouse is in a quiet neighbourhood a bit before the Kotka centre. No interaction between check-in and check-out is possible. Each room shares a toilet with another room but the showers are common for the entire guest house. If you are travelling with a cycle, you can keep it safely in the backyard. There is a grocery store within walking distance of the guesthouse.
The hotel is a charming old manor house. It doesn't offer luxury or all modern facilities, and could do with some updating, but is a lovely setting for a quiet, peaceful getaway. Breakfast is plentiful, and taken on the veranda, overlooking the green gardens, offers a great relaxing start to one's day!
We only stayed for one night. We did not have breakfast. Room was simple, quiet, clean. Everything was okay, but probably would not choose this hotel for a longer stay. To visit city center we used our car.
This was one of the cleanest hostels/ guesthouses I ever have stayed in. (And I've travelled a lot around the world.) The shared kitchen was also spotless clean. I also liked the maritime-themed furnishing and decorations.

Clean and quiet hotel. The room key was left in the lobby. I received all the necessary information via sms and e-mail. The shared kitchen is very well equipped - everything has been thought of.
Staff was helpful and very friendly, very customer friendly, humble even. Made me feel very welcomed to the place. Warm hearted people i would say.
Location is okay, about a mile or so away from the city center.
Definitely worth of try if looking for cheap/affordable place to stay, every penny worth i would say.
