Even the room was not big but very clean and comfortable and I felt very happy to get a hot water kettle, small refrigerator and microwave in my room, which the host was very helpful to provide, that greatly helped me to overcome some problem of having meal because when I returned to the hostel from my photographing at dust all restaurants in town closed at this time. Thank you again for your kindness.

Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The apartment was wonderful. Located in a lovely quiet village. Hosts were very helpful friendly and accommodating.
Kids loved playing in the pool and enjoying the views.
An added bonus was attending the free bbq and music event as the village had a fiesta going on for the weekend. All locals were really friendly.
Fantastic stay in this charming property. Comfortable, clean rooms (one with a terrace with a gorgeous rural outlook). Lovely breakfast included. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable host. Easy walk to the centre of town. Overall just a really delightful place to spend a night. Highly recommended and we would certainly go back!
Charming Spanish style in a great location within minutes of the main square with free easy onsite parking.
The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom very good .
Full marks for cleanliness and the lady host was extremely helpful .
We really enjoyed our stay here. Very friendly and helpful host, great location for the old town but still peaceful. Very comfortable room with a balcony and a lovely breakfast.
Super friendly hosts. Great location, quiet area, family and pet friendly. Looked after garden space.
Feels like home rather then rented accommodation, which for me is the best I could get.
Beautiful building in a gorgeous town. Quaint. Charming. Lovely woodwork all around inside the hostel all hand built by the owners who have their spectacular hand made furniture business next door! The hotel was clean and it felt safe.
Great location to walk around town. Close to a nice restaurant, Casa Cossio, where they serve the best Cocido Montañés I’ve had in Cantabria!
