Character rooms in separate individual buildings, arranged up a steep hillside. Nicely finished, beautifully renovated, picnic tables outside were a nice touch. Good hooks in room made it easy to dry wet coats! In pedstrianised old town with good choice of places to eat, and close to waterfront.

Great location, nice and clean room. It’s is quite small, but didn’t expect anything bigger and was perfectly fine for us. Also, the owner was very helpful and allowed us to leave the bags before the official check-in! Overall a very pleasant stay! Recommend :)

The bathroom was new and I liked that I could make some tea with the kettle that was outside. The food in the restaurant San Jorge was really good!

Jose was an excellent host, the room was beautiful, very comfortable. The house was situated in a quiet village with only bird song and cows tinkly bells, no traffic noise. The setting is idyllic.Jose was very informative about the area, provided advice on places to visit, and gave us a map.He left chocolate bars on our bedside table, a thoughtful gesture. The breakfast he served us was plentiful with good varied ingredients. He was kind, generous and most accommodated. We would definitely like to visit again!

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Comfortable place to stay in a great location for Ribadesella. The room was a good size, quiet, with strong air conditioning. The staff are based over in the main building of the hotel but were easily accessible and spoke good English. The location is right off the beach and there was free parking on site. Not going to be the most beautiful hotel room you've ever stayed in, but gets the job done.
Ribadesella is quite an expensive holiday town, but I was pleased to find this place in the hills, 3km from the town which provided me with everything I want at a very reasonable price. I booked a single room, which though small suited my requirements exactly, with the added bonus of a splendid view looking back to the town and coast. The building is attractive, and has a charming little terrace at the back. The bar downstairs is open at least until 9pm.
The host was very good humoured and friendly. My bike was secure in the garage.
So here it is, you go to a "pension", which means cheap hotel for "passing by". You pay 50€ and get everything. The bed is not the nicest one, but you paid 50€. The TV was tiny, but it is an extra TV for the 50€ you paid. You get clean towels everyday and get the room clean too, for 50€. The check in the remote through SMS and you get a key, for 50€. And in addition to that, you are in the middle of the beauty of Ribadesella :D
Great location. Although I was lucky and didn’t have a suitcase, for others it could be difficult as it’s situated up a lot of stairs if you access without a car. The host was friendly and there was a breakfast offer for a reasonable cost.
Had a lovely time and felt like home. Great location,
Clean, very spacious, accommodating and welcoming host. We’d definitely come back when we’re in Ribadesella. Thank you
The Pension met my needs for an Easter weekend break from walking the Camino del Norte. The room was cosy and interestingly decorated. The outside area provided a quiet retreat from the busy street of the town.
Diego was a great host from start to finish, always helpful and cheerful. The hotel was in a great location, close to Ribadesella but still nice and peaceful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable with a choice of hard and soft pillows.
