My wife and I, have never felt so safe anywhere in the world before. Getafe is not geared up for tourism, and I hope that it remains this way. As soon as we attempted to speak Spanish everyone we spoke to were very polite, helpful and friendly. Hostal Carlos, was exceptional. Location of it was easy to find away from the main road far enough to make it quiet. From the outside, it looked like a typical well kept unassuming building for the area. Once inside it proved to be well above expectations and spotless clean. Sometimes other guests were a little noisy, but that is fault of guests not Hostsl Carlos 111. Fantastic stay for the week.

The contact with the property owner was very good, I was giving detailed instructions on how to get in and out. When there was an issue with light, they responded quickly and helped to solve the issue.

Location was not bad, accomodation was easy to find or enter and host eventually responded to my request.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Hotel is located outside the center directly on the expressway. Nevertheless, it was quiet, you didn't hear any noise. It's a good 20 minutes into the city. Very good parking and cheap compared to hotels in the center. Ideal for those passing through or people who need good parking. Rooms are spacious.
We only had 1 night and because it was called Hostal Carlos we thought it might be like a hostal. We were very happy to find this little gem at a good price and will stay again.
Comfortable room with good bathroom and comfortable bed. Good value, and short walk to the train station for quick & cheap commute into central Madrid.
