The best hosts on the entire camino. A horrible winter storm hit and the town lost power but the hosts made sure I had everything I needed to stay comfortable, fed, and warm. Very cosy mountaintop retreat. Will stay here again.

Our triple room had comfortable beds, good lighting, and a great bathroom & shower. This building is co-located with a restaurant where had our lunch and dinner meals - decent food overall and nice not to have to walk far in the rain. Overall, good value for money - we would definitely stay here again.

A very special place where you feel at home, the host Teresa is the best! She picked me up in Triacastela and took me for a tour around the area, including the beautiful Monastery in Samos. The next day she dropped me off in Triacastela to continue the Camino de Santiago

Great location directly on Camino Frances. Within a block of laundromat and restraunts options. Room was clean, comfy and reasonable size. Bath was nice size and great water pressure. I can’t comment on downstairs bar/ dining as we didn’t go there, rather we met friends elsewhere.

The room was nice, clean and the location was good.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Great location, spotlessly clean, very comfortable. Smart TVs in the rooms were a lovely luxury! Our host didn’t speak English but was very kind and friendly. The food was great!
Clean, spacious, beautiful and quiet room

Fine cuisine dishes for dinner, and very good breakfast
Loved this stay a beautiful building very new modern clean lines a great hostess! Modesta went out of her way to make us feel at home ate lunch and dinner there! home cooked meals generous serves - even got the half of the omelette we couldn’t finish for dinner in a container to take away! highly recommend! super comfortable beds and pillows too! slept really well - great coffee in the morning
Beautiful setting, great location, right in the Camino de Santiago, and the friendliest host you could have.
Having a meal in the Palloza with the pilgrims was a priceless experience. It’s my second time visiting, and I hope to come back soon.
Great host, Lola greeted us on arrival. Well appointed room with private bathroom and insect screens on windows. Good bar and common room for guests. Communal dinner eaten away from sleeping area in separate building. Delicious meal and excellent bar staff.
Charming daughter+mother hosts. Dinner unavailable that evening for understandable (hosts' personal) reasons but daughter rang around the whole village to secure us a booking elsewhere. Breakfast simple but everything fresh, high quality and with generous seconds.
Casa de Lucas was one of our best lodgings on the entire Camino. The hostel is delightful, the food is great, and the hosts are charming. Highly recommended!
