We received a very warm welcome from the delightful staff who made excellent recommendations about places to eat and nearby walks. They generously upgraded our room to one with a balcony midway through our stay.

We had a fabulous 3 night stay. A peaceful mountain setting but a good base to explore the area. Rooms were very comfortable and we had all we needed. Rosa was the perfect host, friendly and attentive throughout the stay. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty and we had dinner on 2 nights which was home cooked food at its very best.
Hosteria Picos De Europa has beautiful views of the village of Potes and Peña Vieja, the highest mountain in Cantabria. It offers good-value accommodation with free Wi-Fi access.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. One of the best hostels I have ever stayed in. Wasn't too busy so we had a room to ourselves. The staff were extremely nice and were helpful in giving us lots of recommendations. The garden is really nice and a great place to have dinner or lunch. The bathrooms are well-equipped and are kept very clean. The location is very good, a beautiful town that is very close to the picos de europa (you can get the bus to fuente de to get the cable car).
We loved the house, so charming ! The host welcomed us at our arrival. We appreciated the plentiness of cutlery, plates and kitchen tools. The house is very comfortable and our kids loved sleeping in the mezzanine! Beds were very comfortable too and the area is very quiet. Great time there!!
Breakast was really nice including an omlette. Showers were really nice. The restaurant associated with the Hostel was exceptional. Local food prepared really well. Great location for going to Fuente De.
