omg it is so lovely! directly off the camino but quite a hike - super quiet, super clean. the lady at the front desk could see i was starved and graciously made me a sandwich before i passed out from walking so far! and theres a great restaurant next door -

This was a very affordable guesthouse near Santillana del Mar. We took a bus from right in front of the property to get into town. (note that the property faces a busy road, but is set back a bit, although you will hear some traffic noise). The breakfast was good, and it was right near our Camino walking route. The host was very accommodating for our arrival and departure.

This is an absolute gem. It is a small family run hotel, set in its own delightful grounds, about a mile south of Cabezon along a very quiet lane, ideal for a stroll. Our room had its own spacious terrace. The buffet breakfast is as comprehensive as in a big top class hotel without the pushing and dodging of other guests. The hot options are cooked to order. The proprietor offers a “light” dinner but one can make it as substantial as one wishes and it is of excellent quality, good value and in very agreeable surroundings.
Great location, a lovely room, beautiful artworks on the walls, great facilities, bar open all day, wonderful friendly and kind staff. The manager is really friendly helpful and very kind.
A beautiful old house with wonderful gardens. We had a junior suite which was great with plenty of comfortable seating. The bathroom was huge.
