The great hospitality, very clean. Very quiet. Ocean is right across the street. Garden, private sitting area with comfortable furniture. Our room was very secure, restaurant on premises with such good service. They set up taxis and whale tour for us.

Amazing location across from the beach in a quieter part of town, but a very easy walk or short tuk tuk ride to the bars and restaurants in town. The staff was top notch, rooms were comfortable and well maintained w AC and the food was great. Couldn't recommend any higher. Best place to stay in Puerto Lopez by far and the staff couldn't be any friendlier or more hospitable

Beautiful property right on the beach. And an easy walk to anything in Ayampe. Perfect location. Also it’s really nice having shady spots on the beach in front of the hotel for long days on the beach.
I’ve stayed three places in Ayampe now - all were great in their own way, but I think I’ll check here first the next time I visit.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Great breakfast, friendly and helpful. Quiet and charming garden. Clean Beach just across the street. Great library and collection of musical instruments as well as games to use. Lovely room with outdoor seating.
I was immediately contacted by the host to let me know about arrival and keys. My room had a wonderful view. I requested a quiet room and it was possible because the area is surrounded by nature.
The best about the hostel is the staff. Maria and Osvaldo are such a nice couple, very attentive, helpful and friendly. Puerto Lopez is very safe to walk, and so, despite not being quite in the center, Alcazaba was close to it, in a quiet part of town, and easy to reach walking or by moto-taxi (-1$). We felt at home. At first we were staying one night and ended up staying almost a week. There is also a small kitchen we could use, a refrigerator and potable water.
it is located in a quiet area with a great ocean view, prior to my arrival the host sent me some contacts for taxis and tuc tuc so it was easy to transport inside the town. I am a remote worker so it was great I was able to work in a peaceful area. will come back soon to stay longer!
Excellent tropical breakfast, with wonderful fresh fruit, eggs, buns, butter & jam, and coffee.
Location is at the quiet end of the malecon, which is nice, and right across from the beach.
The ROOM is actually a little cabana with a deck complete with table and chairs and a hamock.
