The pool was nice, and we had it to ourselves because there were no other guests at the moment we stayed. The host is super friendly and explains everything very detailed. The room is spacious and the deck is nice for sitting outside.

The property is beautiful. It is well kept and the paint is beautiful colours. The rooms are well laid out, with a mini fridge (super helpful with such warm weather!). Beds are comfortable, and there are lots of nice places to chill, like the rooftop terrace and reading nook. It is also less than a minute from the beach. The host is very kind and helpful. One of my favourite stays!!

Samo Eco Lodge was a beautiful stay, with great host! The room was clean and very comfortable. Beautifully set in the mountains, waking up and going to sleep listening to the sounds of nature. Just be aware it is 15ish minutes drive from town, (which is lovely but could be inconvenient for others) The host gave me a moto taxi number though and then was kind enough to take me into town and help me rent a scooter for my stay :) Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend.
A quiet place close to the city center for car owners, you can park your car in a closed parking lot. The price is reasonable and suitable for a small room.
A very clean place with a wonderful host. Bianca was very helpful during my stay. The gated community that the house is in is very quiet. It's in a patch of jungle, so you get frogs and crickets, etc., chirping as you sleep. Very peaceful.
The villa is surrounded by a fantastic tropical garden, is very elegant and charming. Very quiet area, just a few minutes walk to the nearest beach. The room was very spacious and had an enormous and very cozy terrace.
It was hard for us to leave 😍.
Location!!! Just a quick walk outside the city centre, close enough to the beach and all the nightlife but at night it was peaceful and perfect for a restful sleep. 200m to the beach, 20m to shops and cute restaurants. The hosts were super lovely!

Excellent location. Great host and atmosphere. Really clean rooms, especially for DR and the region. The villa is spacious with just a moment to the beautiful beach and all the laid-back restaurants and clubs. Just by the corner really good small few-table restaurant - ask Sascha the host for details. To the hive-like city center not far but far enough - a short walk by the beach and you there. Really cool place to stay.
Our stay at Punta Popy Boutique Hotel and Las Terrenas was our favourite in a 2 week trip to the Dominican Republic. The hotel is calm, charming and located a very short walk from the seafront (outside the centre of Las Terrenas, but this too is within easy walking distance). Everything is well organised, very tastefully decorated and clean. Jaume and Montse are attentive and helpful hosts, and prepare a delicious breakfast. When they are not around their supporting team are always on hand.
