I don't understand why this place didn't get 10/10 in the guest reviews considering the really attractive price and what you get for it. Of course it's not comparable to a 5* lodge or hotel. But you get a more than adequate breakfast, friendly staff and good rooms for a fair price. The people who complain forget the price-performance ratio.
The Bilz-Pension is located in Lindenau, just 1.9 mi south of the beautiful Friedewald Nature Reserve. It offers classically furnished rooms with free Wi-Fi, and a daily breakfast buffet.

Small hotel with a restaurant. Perfection in traveling. Friendly staff, helpful and accommodating. I had a nice plate of goulash and a lager beer for dinner. Very tasty! Surface rail runs right in front of the hotel. We rented a car, but if we had planned better it seemed like we could have used public transportation to get here. Room was nice and clean. Bathroom had updated plumbing fixtures. Good water pressure. Very comfortable.

Great location, right next to the forest. Rooms were clean and had all the amenities. Breakfast is quite rich and tasty, have great selection of fruits.
Pension is located at a good distance from Schloss Moritzburg. You can walk here by foot. We didn't use the breakfast option because we had to go very early in the morning. Anyway, the personnel was very helpful.
