Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great water pressure in the shower. Secure garage nearby for bike storage. Breakfast was ample, varied and delicious. Especially the breads. And our soft-boiled eggs were cooked to perfection.

Helmines house offered a lot of space, many good facilities and comfortable beds. The location was perfect for walks, nature was on the doorstep. At night it was so quiet!
We were delighted with the queit and idylic location of the guest house: in its own park, looking back over the river towards lovely Mettlach. The guesthouse was also charming and had a real sense of history and the Belle Epoch about it. The Villeroy & Boch wares in use and on display were welcome. We had a pleasant meal in the restaurant and were very appreciative of the staff member's wine knowledge and recommendation: the 'Black Print' from Pfalz was delicious!
The hostess came immediately to show us around and give us the keys upon arrival (although we arrived 2 hours earlier). The apartment was a lot nicer than I expected.
Very comfortable with the kids, very quiet and everything you need is nearby (playground, supermarket, bakery).
Indoor and outdoor private parking.
Kitchen is well equipped.
We even got easter eggs as a treat 😊
