( I got a call from an English speaker to notify me about check-in instruction. A person at the accommodation would not speak English very well. But in fact she speaks very well in English. The house was incredible. Everything was well furnished and laid out. The finishings and design was beautiful and we enjoyed just being in the space. We slept so well too in the comfortable bed and mattress. The area is quiet as well so sleeping with open windows and fresh air was great for us city dwellers. Other great things: morning tea in the sunshine on the back terrace, the view over the canal, the fireplaces (yes, plural), big bathtub, lovely showers. The list goes on and on. We'd be thrilled to come back!
