Room is small but very functional. Staff is great! There is an awesome breakfast buffet and if you have to leave early, you get a lunch packet that exceeds anybody’s expectation.

Great breakfast. Location over 1 mile from T.I. and Castle Church, a bit further than anticipated; this not a location for folks for whom walking several miles a day presents some difficulty.

This is exactly as advertised--a pension. The hostess was friendly and fun. The location is great, a block and a half from the main street. We were able to walk to all the sights easily. And the parking was free!
While our room was dated, as we had expected, the bathroom had clearly been recently renovated. Very modern and clean.

Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
