Bellissima villa ottocentesca tenuta davvero con molta cura. A 20 minuti a piedi dalla città vecchia o dal campus universitario contenente anche lo zoo. Posizione quindi ottima per raggiungere tutto a piedi, nonostante ci fossero fermate degli autobus nelle vicinanze. La signora Beate super gentile e disponibile, ci si sente davvero a casa! Ottima e abbondante colazione in un clima cordiale e rilassante

L’atmosfera caratteristica dell’hotel con le sue scale ripide, le travi a vista, le camerette con l’armadio pitturato. Carina anche l’idea del frigorifero e del caffè solubile a disposizione. Comunicazione efficiente e molto cortese. Posizione davvero super

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Quick to answer any queries. Room was perfectly clean and a good size. Bed was very comfortable and allowed for a great night's sleep. Weather was warm while I was there but the room had a fan provided which was great. The bar downstairs is a great place to have a few drinks or a nice meal. Property is about 15-20 minutes walk from the main station in Heidleberg and is in a great location right on the Neckar. I'd definitely recommend taking a walk up to Königstuhl for the amazing views of the town and the Neckar river. Took me about 2 hours to walk up but there's also a train. Overall it was 10 out of 10 and It'll definitely be where I choose to stay next time I'm in Heidleberg.

Very cosy and clean room in a little guest house that is opened in an ancient hotel building Directly next to Heidelberg Castle on the hill, quiet above the old town parties. Clean drinking water from a natural source for free. Kiosque with snacks as well as a restaurant nearby, good food not too expensive. Nice for a walk around part of the castle in the dark or in the morning with a breathtaking look on the town. Very cosy beds in private rooms ( no dorms).

what a relief this place is in times of all these expensive hotels! The room just had all you need, you share a kitchen and the bathroom with someone who lives there but Christian is a kind guy and you have all the privacy you need. The location is perfect next to the castle and you don't see it on the pictures but the place has a very cozy terrace where you can drink and eat. It is 10 minutes walking to the city center and if you take the stairs downstairs next to the castle you have a pleasant walk to get there.
